Unfortunately, the chapel isn't open to the public; you can only peek through the church window. Nevertheless, it's worth a detour, whether on foot or by bike, as you'll enjoy a magnificent view of Lake Constance and the Alps from here. You'll find plenty of seating next to the chapel.

Degerseestuben, a must-stop. Very, very friendly and delicious food. Nice little beach.

Like the nearby Muttelsee, Wielandssee, and Degersee lakes, the Schleinsee formed as a meltwater lake towards the end of the last Ice Age, approximately 15,000 years ago. The two surface tributaries are insignificant; however, several subterranean springs feed the Schleinsee. The theoretically calculated water renewal time is approximately two years.

Beautiful, quiet little street with a view of Lake Muttel.

The idyllic St. Anthony's Chapel stands on the moraine hill typical of the Lake Constance region, the so-called "Bergle." First documented in 1492, it once served as a hermitage. The view from up here is breathtaking.

Not only well used during the State Garden Show in 2024, but also afterwards, this bridge will be invaluable for the people of Wangen so that they can continue to use the former site as a place of rest.
