If you're not careful, you'll pass it somewhat hidden at the side of the road, as it descends from Winkelhaid/Birnthon. There's only a small sign on the left, and you'll then have to follow a small path for about 20 meters to reach the spring. The path is not accessible by bike!

A9 instead of A3?? It doesn't matter for cycling though. The bridge looks modern, but there are better vantage points for cyclists than looking at huge amounts of motorized traffic!

The new motorway bridge is a pedestrian/cyclist crossing only. It leads from Birnthon/ Feucht to the cemetery in Fischbach, past a newly constructed overflow basin. If it weren't for the traffic noise, you could have a nice rest here :-)
