Beautiful concrete sculpture with 2 faces;

For adult citizens, the path provides an opportunity to walk through our community's beautiful landscape, consciously re-experience it, and relive the past through the stone monuments. Last but not least, the Sculpture Trail enriches the tourist offering far beyond the community's borders. The project's funding by the Bavarian Cultural Fund is seen as a special recognition. The totem pole described here is the Ulrichstock. The Ulrichstock was created by Peter Plentz and is part of the Stone Legends Trail in the municipality of Großheirath. When Peter Plentz embraces his muse, he creates expressive, imaginative, and detailed, sometimes even provocative sculptures. Peter Plentz also models with passion. For his sculptures, he uses concrete weights, which are applied layer by layer to a steel skeleton. Favorite themes in his works are "good and evil" and "growth and decay." For Peter Plentz, working with stone and concrete has an almost mystical quality. "You become one with the material, the forms, and the creation of the object," he enthuses. The Water Goddess is part of the Großheirath community's Stone Legend Trail. The stone legends were created by sculptor Christian Peter Plentz. For the artist, this figure is a symbol of life and its constant renewal.

The square takes up historical themes and is reminiscent of former courts in the region. The design of the square and the sculptures erected there are intended to transport visitors back to times gone by and encourage reflection.
