The hall church, built of rubble stone, dates from 1723. The tower is considerably older, having originally been the bower of the Hanstein manor house. The date 1674 is visible on the western portal. Noteworthy are the curved, two-story gallery and the wooden barrel vaulted ceiling.

As a former station on the Kanonenbahn, the Lengenfeld and Stein station has become the hub of the adventure railcars. The railcars are serviced and used here. There are two routes. Route 1 from Lengenfeld and Stein to Küllstedt and back 26 km. Route 2 goes from Lengenfeld and Stein to Geismar and back 7 km. A special experience is driving on the 244 m long and 23 m high Lengenfeld viaduct, located just behind the Lengenfeld unterm Stein station.
