The giant bench was and still is a real attraction on the bike path. It's fun to "climb" it and have your picture taken. 😅😅 The reason why this "bench" was installed there is interesting... to observe storks (at least that's what a dog walker told me). He said they're found all around Lich—just not in front of the bench. 😅😅

The horse carousel is “ancient”, after a long period of inactivity (damaged in the war), it has been turning again since 2016.

Here the “location” was carried out incorrectly. The “soldiers” are installed on the waiting tree near Windecken.

In memory of the fact that a long time ago (1897) an “imperial maneuver” took place here, the “guard soldiers” were set up. In the summer, various events are also held at the “Wartbaum”:

The giant bench not only offers space for several people, but also a great view of the Spessart and beyond Hanau.

The Wartbaum is one of 18 stations on the Hohe Straße regional park route.
