Just on the outskirts of Clitheroe, Chatburn is a small village with good access to the River Ribble.

This path is useful to link up Clitheroe to the higher fields near the A59 whilst avoiding traffic.

The link road between Waddington and West Bradford is quiet, no separate footpath but a really quiet road that links up the two beautiful villages.

A short section of trail path by the river ribble by Brungerly Park - can get pretty muddy after heavy periods of rain.

The old bridge leading into Waddington/Brungerly park. From here you can also venture into Waddow Hall.

Chatburn is a picturesque village in the Ribble Valley. It has all the things you need before or after a hike around the area. Local pub, The Brown Cow, serves delicious food and serves local ales and Hudson's Ice cream shop and café.
