Now with parking management, and in May 2025, at €2/24 hours, it's quite acceptable. Excellent starting point for the Kreuzfelsen and beyond. It has also been expanded and now accommodates significantly more cars on four levels.

Big and free. The ideal start for a 12,000m tour.

Cool spot, be careful when it's wet, otherwise it's really fun and a great photo opportunity. The whole area is really exciting and varied. The nearby Rauchröhren peak (1042m) is unfortunately not accessible to normal hikers.

Nice idea, near the Kreuzfelsen (999m).

An absolutely idyllic train station in the middle of nowhere. Perfect for starting many a hike. The climb to the Goldsteig hike to the Großer Arber is worth it...
