Würzburg is an extremely historic city. In particular, the cathedral, the old town, the Old Main Bridge and the Marienberg Fortress as well as the Residenz and the Hofgarten are highly recommended. Also along the banks of the Main - just great.

The castle garden is an absolute eye-catcher, because it is very well maintained and attracts attention.

If you walk across the Main Bridge, you will pass a total of 12 bridge figures. These figures are Frankish apostles, Würzburg bishops, saints as patron saints, Charlemagne and his father Pippin.
