Pub/beer garden with a terrace where you can take a nice short break - especially for wine lovers. The castle can be easily reached on foot or by bike from Nordheim or Volkach.

Unfortunately, the Hallburg only has the beer garden open when the weather is stable, as a major fire destroyed the entire restaurant over Pentecost.

So when the sun is shining:
Fridays from 3 p.m.
Saturdays from 12 p.m.
Sundays from 10.30 a.m. (during jazz brunch)

Hallburg Castle is now used as a winery and restaurant. Visitors can sample regional wines and enjoy the relaxed atmosphere in a historic setting. Numerous hiking and biking trails lead around the castle through the beautiful landscape of the Volkach Main River Loop – perfect for a break on a tour or for discovering Franconian wine tradition.
