The bridge, rebuilt in 1832, still stands today. A toll was payable to cross the bridge, for which a toll house was built in 1786. There is a small wooden hut on the bridge. It is called "To the stone bridge veteran". In 2022, this will be managed on Ascension Day and Pentecost (Sunday and Monday).

The covered, 55.5-meter-long and 4.6-meter-wide wooden bridge spans the Flöha River, approximately five meters above normal water level. The Flöha River is 46 meters wide at this point. The permitted vehicle height is three meters, and the roadway is 2.6 meters wide. The maximum load capacity is nine tons.
