The new lookout is a great vantage point over the Wachau! Numerous hiking trails pass by here, such as the World Heritage Trail and the Dunkelsteinerwald circular hiking trail.

The Hirschwand, or rather the Hirschwandsteig, is well secured with ropes and footholds, but you should still be sure-footed and free from shingles if you want to enjoy the view here.

Of course, you should know that the subdomain *.jimdoweb.com indicates that the website was created by "complete" amateurs and is therefore usually poorly maintained. The climb is only for experienced climbers! Or rather - the descent. You can somehow get up the path secured with ladders and ropes, but the descent can be a bit tricky if you're not very experienced at climbing. The view, however, is a dream!!
