A beautiful vantage point in the Dunkelsteinerwald forest, with a particularly fantastic view of Göttweig Abbey. It's worth the hike up if you don't mind the undergrowth. You'll still find remnants of World War I fortifications in the area, which were built to secure the Krems bridges against an Italian breakthrough.

A summit without a spectacular view, as it's quite overgrown, but almost a place of power. A good spot for a break ;-)

There is a bench at this point. A nice place for a snack. You can enjoy the undisturbed view of Göttweig Abbey and the surrounding area.

Wonderful view over Krems into the Tullnerfeld, over the Danube to Göttweig Abbey and into the Dunkelsteinerwald, located on the Großer Tullnerfeld circular hiking trail 675 and the Waldviertel long-distance hiking trail 606, one of the Mariazell pilgrim paths also passes through here, the 06er.

The hiking trail to the observation point leads through a really beautiful forest or beautiful vineyards and the view rewards the climb.
