At 960 meters, the Jauerling is the highest mountain on the Danube. At the summit is the almost 40 meter high lookout point, from which you have a magnificent all-round view. Around the tower there are also several benches and tables for a rest, a herb garden, a café and a mineral exhibition. It is open daily from April to October from 9:30 a.m. to 6 p.m.

The Jauerling is of course a must for every ambitious cyclist! The climb from the south via the L7145 is not necessarily recommended in summer because there is little shade. It is better to approach from Gut am Steg or from Aggsbach Markt.
