The 314 meter high rock cone towers over Spitz and offers you a wonderful view. What about the 1,000 buckets? A bucket was previously used as a unit of measurement. In good years the slopes of the mountain are said to have brought in up to a thousand buckets of wine - that's around 56,000 liters. Even today, excellent vines grow on the steep stone terraces.

A short hike - can easily be combined with a stroll through Spitz. The view from above is fantastic and drinks are provided by the self-service refrigerator.
