Perfect place for a short half-time stop in the sun on the Hellsee circular hiking trail

Huge open halls, couldn't explore everything. The area was larger than expected.

If you're looking for a suitable option for cyclists to descend from the paved main path up in the forest to Liepnitzsee, this is the place for you. Elsewhere, it gets quite steep, narrow, sandy, and rooty! Plus, there's a fantastic view just before you reach the shore path and the lake. It's worth stopping in time.

On the approximately 6 km long loop around the heath there are always a few benches to rest on and you might even see a few animals.
