A truly magnificent fountain depicting a drummer boy. The work of the renowned Osnabrück sculptor Hans Gerd Ruwe from 2007. The fountain commemorates the granting of market rights to Glane in 1764.

Glandorf is a municipality in the southwest of the Osnabrück district in Lower Saxony. The name comes from the term Glanathorpe - settlement on the Glane - and was first mentioned in documents in 1070.
