Caution: there is currently a lot of dirt on the cycle path from Simmozheim to Weil der Stadt, especially in the area of the Aussiedlerhof near the salt meadows.

The "Waldenserstein" (Waldensian Stone) is Neuhengstett's landmark, offering a beautiful view of Neuhengstett and the Northern Black Forest. It was erected on May 3, 1881, to commemorate the Waldensian families who immigrated there at that time, and a plaque bears their names. Next to the stone are several seating areas for a short rest or simply enjoying the view.
