A great road in itself. A bike path runs alongside it. Unfortunately, the road runs straight ahead, while the bike path zigzags 90° to 90° every 500 meters, and some of the tight curves are also covered in slippery gravel. The result: slow down to walking pace every 500 meters. So it's no wonder cyclists swerve onto the road where they can let it go.

The immaculate surface makes it almost effortless to cycle here. It's a gentle climb from Neuhausen. Off-peak, it's not particularly busy and there's plenty of room for safe overtaking. The only drawback: The former bike path next to it has been exempted from mandatory use (thanks in part to Natenom) and is therefore, strictly speaking, now a pedestrian-only path, but not everyone realizes this (or doesn't want to admit it). Nevertheless, it still occasionally leads to conflicts with drivers who would rather see you on this bumpy track than on the road. That's why I often prefer to cycle to Schellbronn via Hamberg. It's a small detour, but you get complete peace and quiet!

You can ride the short stretch from the turnoff to Mindersbach to the Pfrondorf Mill on the road and maintain a high speed. This is an attractive option during off-peak times. When traffic is heavy, which is often the case, you can also opt for the bike path – but you'll have to accept one or two steep climbs and a lower speed. The route is a bit more adventurous: first, a very steep, confusing section under the road, then over the wooden bridge, and then a steep climb again just before Emmingen.

A great route with beautiful views. Coming from Neuhausen, the climb is longer, but the gradient remains very moderate. Coming from Münklingen, you first have to conquer a steep ramp, but you're then rewarded with a long descent on a top-quality surface. Be careful on the descent to Münklingen! The gradient will increase your speed, and you should take the warning about road damage seriously! There are some nasty potholes and bumps that, in the worst case, can make you fly...

Not entirely quiet (a lot of through traffic), but thanks to the 30 km/h speed limit throughout the town, you can flow along with the rest of the traffic in a relaxed manner. The surface is mostly very good.
