The Perpuspaan Main Gate in Brunei is a unique monument commemorating the coronation of the current Sultan of Brunei in August 1968. Originally built at the entrance to a water town nearby, it was moved to its current location in 1993. The gate is easily recognizable, being situated near the famous Omar Ali Saifuddien Mosque. A popular subject for photographs, it offers an interesting perspective on Brunei's history and cultural heritage.
