A lovely place to stroll among the skyscrapers and yachts. There are also a few small, shady playgrounds. It tends to get quite crowded in the evenings, though.

We took a slow boat ride through this "district" after sunset on Valentine's Day and were thrilled. A walking tour is not only popular with tourists, and we learned from locals that you don't need a car if you live in "Dubai Marina" because you can reach everything on foot. The metro and tram have several stops nearby.
