The mountain restaurant is a great place to stop for a meal. The service is very friendly, and the food is fresh and very good.

The Furka Pass is a 2,429 m high Swiss road pass in the Alps. It connects the Urseren Valley (the upper valley of the Reuss River) in the canton of Uri with the Goms district in the canton of Valais. Varied and rocky, but also very flowy towards the end.

A very beautiful route without cars. Only the post office/public bus is allowed to travel here. A suitable gear is recommended, though. There are four or five fountains for refilling water up to Gr. Scheidegg – perfect.

Since the tunnel on the Grimsel Pass road is only accessible by bike downhill, you'll have to take the old pass road. However, it's not a must, as the path, part of which is cobblestone, is much more beautiful and spectacular anyway.
