Around the two lakes, new hiking trails and bridges lead along fruit tree groves and rows of fruit trees. The tree and shrub plantings and the renatured small watercourses are in harmonious alternation with fields and pastures. Information boards explain the human use of the landscape in the past centuries, the formation of lakes through peat extraction, the problems of increasing silting up and the successful desludging in the recent past. The use of wind and water power is explained at the still existing or former mill locations.
