Strictly speaking, it's more of a path than a trail, except for one very short section. So it's not a problem, although there are currently quite a few fallen trees lying around.

The Witches' Fountain was once on my daily commute by bike. It's a little highlight between Wahlwies and Nenzingen, especially for children, with the water wheel by the small stream. The route from Wahlwies to Nenzingen isn't too long and can easily be walked by families with children and strollers. In Nenzingen, you can enjoy a good meal at the Ritter or Schönenberger Hof before heading back to Wahlwies. In Wahlwies, you can end your day of hiking at the Adler.

Beautiful forest uphill towards the motorway and gravel works.

There is nothing left of the trail. Half the forest is in the way (see pictures). Impassable!

The Roman estate near Eigeltingen bears witness to the region's long history and provides fascinating insights into the life of the Romans on Lake Constance. Archaeological finds suggest that there was once a large agricultural estate here that supplied the Roman province.
