A breezy experience. It sways a bit up there, but it's worth it: the panoramic view is fantastic. I especially like the view across to the Pragsattel and out into the Neckar Valley. Please don't forget to drop in a one-euro donation. It's inexpensive and helps!

A crossing point between the centrally located Neuer See and the Pfaffensee. At the dam, there is a gated access point with a view of the lake, marked with the year 1930.

Press release from May 22, 2024: This year, the Bärensee will remain without water. That was the case last year, but the city had promised that the lake would be refilled this spring. But now it's official: The lake will remain empty this year as well. The work on the dam and the outlet is more difficult than expected and is taking longer!

The Bärenschlössle and the surrounding area are worth a visit at any time of year. It is more pleasant there during the week, as there are a lot of visitors at the weekend. The daily lunch menu is available at the Bärenschlössle from 12.30 p.m. Good value for money. Very tasty food on offer. Large selection of cakes.

Beautiful park/forest with old trees and places to rest or stop for refreshments.

The Höhenpark has always been one of the highlights of the city.

You should have a head for heights when you tackle the 106 steps and almost 30m in height.

Totally nice for walking and jogging - it's best to come early in the morning when it's not that crowded.
