Many benches are placed here. Some are right on the lakeshore, others closer to the edge of the woods. Otherwise, everything in and on the lake is prohibited. Numerous signs indicate this.

The Steinbachsee is one of the so-called park lakes around the state capital. Surrounded by the Spitalwald forest, it was dug out in 1812 to supply the mills in the surrounding area. Later it served as a drinking water reservoir, similar to the Bärensee.

Today a protected natural monument and important local recreation area, it was once a fire-fighting water reservoir, later it served as an ice lake for breweries and as a body of water for fish farming.

Beautiful local recreation area, with the Paulinensee having its own charm in every season. Especially in autumn, the colorful trees are beautifully reflected on the mostly smooth water surface. Various seating areas are available, and several hiking trails also pass by here (including the Mönsheimer Gipfeltour).

レオンベルク-シルバーベルク近郊のシルベルトール湖は、珍しい鳥や植物の生息地となっています。特に春と夏には、両生類や睡蓮が見られる見ごたえのあるビオトープです。また、降水量によって水位も変動するため、夏には時折、水がほとんど見られないこともあります。

The Steinbachsee is a small reservoir measuring 1.60ha with 4m at its deepest point. It is also used for fishing
