Beautiful small and well-preserved old town center with many beautiful buildings and of course the castle ruins.

An absolutely worthwhile destination in every season 👌😉 My tip: park your bike in the moat and climb onto the roof of the old castle! Now in May everything up there is full of fragrant woodruff 👍

Absolutely impressive extensive rock formation with deep trenches. Nothing similar has yet been discovered in the Taunus. Imagine that the deep rock cuttings were used as a natural moat. Apart from a noticeable ditch around an elevation, only a few remains of a shield wall can be seen today. The trail specified by kommot is at level (S4 - S5) - or just because I couldn't find the trail? Much was covered by leaves. At that point, komoot had big problems showing me my position in relation to the trail. It was a lot of try and error until I had a safe, mobile line. But it wasn't the one drawn in, it looked really grass. The corner is really worth it. More information in the hiking department.

The closer you get to the castle the closer you get to the town center. The town center, gate and path to the castle are worth seeing. Likewise the view from the castle keep
