There is no reliable information about the origin and meaning of the inscriptions and steps carved into the stone, which makes the site mysterious. It is a popular hiking destination and offers an interesting geological structure in the heart of nature.

It's lovely there at the Michelau Cellar Inn. There's also a playground. There's even a small, real excavator (coin-operated). Delicious food, and it's right on the edge of the forest.
