Along the circular path through the rock labyrinth, there are numerous beautiful viewing platforms and rock formations. It's best to climb them all and enjoy them. They offer wonderful photo opportunities.

The Naab (Fichtelnaab) is 42 kilometers long. Its origin lies at the southern foot of the Ochsenkopf, where numerous rivulets flow together and unite with the captured Naab spring. The Fichtelnaabquelle is 867 meters above sea level in a high forest. The source is about 800 meters southeast of the Weißmainquelle. There is a shelter next to the Fichtelnaabquelle.

Not for nothing one of the most popular destinations in the Fichtelgebirge, whether on foot, by mountain bike or by chairlift, everyone gets their money's worth up here. Access to the Asenturm is free and definitely worth it. From here you have a wonderful view far into the Fichtelgebirge. A visit to the Asenturm restaurant is definitely a good idea, nice terrace and nice service, food and drinks at fair prices. Beautiful photo motifs are the landmark, the summit cross and the Goethefelsen.

A visit to the castle ruins in the Steinwald is always impressive. In 1997 it was restored stone by stone by the Steinwaldia Pullenreuth association. Since then it has shone in new splendor.

Numerous hiking trails start from this small lake and the adjacent car park. Since the Karchessee is located directly on the B 303, it is not so idyllic.

Because of the clear, wide view in all directions (Bavarian Forest, Rhön, Thuringian Forest, Ore Mountains), the Kösseine was a popular destination from an early stage. The level of awareness was significantly increased in 1805 by visiting the then Prussian sovereignty. Opened to tourists since 1878, the mountain still attracts many hikers and cyclists today. There is no public road to the summit. The stone observation tower and the “Kösseinehaus” accommodation house of the Fichtelgebirge association invite you to take a look and stop for a bite to eat.
