Top of Fichtelgebirge - the tower on the summit of the Großer Kösseine offers a unique panorama over the surrounding forests and peaks of Tröstauer Forst. Descriptions in the directions tell you what you can see in the distance everything. Right next door, the sun terrace of the Kösseinehaus invites you for a snack.

It is not for nothing that the Kössine mountain peak is called the "Queen of the Fichtelgebirge". A granite stick with a characteristic double head is hidden behind the Kosseine. The summit of the large Kössine lies at 939 meters, the small Kössine lies 200 meters to the east and reaches 922 meters. The landmark of the Kßeine is the rock labyrinth, which is especially fun for children! Here the little ones can really let off steam while climbing.

Via umbrella rocks, Mariannenhöhe and Adlerfelsen you can get to the Kaiserfelsen on adventurous paths. Everywhere on the Kßeine you have a breathtaking view of a sea of granite formations and forests. Around a dozen different hiking trails lead to the summit of the Kßeine. There is a lookout tower and the Kßeinehaus offers a stop with a wonderful panoramic view.

Even increase from the Luisenburg. Good footwear is required, as it goes over long stretches of rocky and stony paths. A rewarding hiking day, which offers a welcome stop on the sun terrace of the Kösseine-Haus. You should choose a day with a long-distance view.
