Bølling Sø is a remarkable place with a fascinating history. Once a vast lake, it was drained in the 19th century to create farmland and peat bogs. In one of these bogs, the world-famous Tollund Man was discovered. In a major and successful conservation effort, the lake was recreated in 2005. The area today is a beautiful example of a restored landscape, with a large, shallow lake at its centre.

Really nice climb and one of the 26 steepest hills in the Silkeborg Municipality. It's also the second highest one, peaking at 117 meters.
