The name alone is worth a visit. The road is also good.

A relatively unspectacular bike path; the river is only visible near Roßwein. But at least it's car-free.

Beautiful landscape

After Sörmtitz the cycle path goes steeply uphill, then nice and flat along the hollow. At the wall of the railway line there is a narrow section and shortly after that there is no asphalt. But they have probably done something there, it is easy to cycle along the hollow and then you have a view of the Ebersbach manor.

Small hydroelectric power station built between 1923 and 1925. It has a machine house, a transformer house and an intermediate building. There is also a residential building for the machine operators. All of the technology was dismantled in 1946, put back into operation in 1953, the plant was renovated in 1992 and the technical equipment was renewed in 1994.

Extremely good for getting quickly and safely from Leisnig station to the central Saxon hinterland (Hartha/Geringswalde) 😄 The road surface is perfect.

From the vantage point above the Kriebenthal walls, the view of Kriebstein Castle is fantastic. The castle was built in the 14th century and is now often used as a filming location for movies. It can be visited from Tuesday to Sunday, and admission costs eight euros.
