Döbeln-East station, often simply called East Station, was opened in 1868 with the Döbeln–Nossen railway line on the grounds of the Kleinbauchlitz manor. It served as an important intermediate stop, its tracks lying at street level until 1904, when they were lowered by six meters. Today, the once-important station is merely a stop.
