A choir tower church with a Romanesque core. A recessed choir and apse. A high octagonal turret. Inside, a remarkable winged altar from 1521, Baroque paintings, and a floating baptismal angel are worth seeing.

Coming from Erlenbach or Falkenhain, the route initially goes slightly downhill. Past the former Lochmühle, after a bridge, it climbs briefly at 10%. Before the bend, it levels out again slightly before rising to 15-17% after the bend until you come out of the forest. After that, it flattens out a bit before rising to 10% shortly before entering Ehrenberg. Always sprint on the last stretch to the village entrance.

From the vantage point above the Kriebenthal walls, the view of Kriebstein Castle is fantastic. The castle was built in the 14th century and is now often used as a filming location for movies. It can be visited from Tuesday to Sunday, and admission costs eight euros.

Thanks to the elevated location, you have a good view of the Kriebstein Dam from the road. Its waterworks is the largest in Saxony and was built between 1927 and 1929. The body of water itself is a popular recreational area.
