The Stiftswald Forestry House was built in 1847/48 southeast of Kaiserslautern and is now located on Velmannstrasse. It replaced the existing Entersweiler District Forestry Office. This older forestry house stood not far from the later Stiftswald Forestry House, about 200 meters south of the current railway underpass and west of Highway 504, which leads from Kaiserslautern to Waldleiningen.

There are three chimneys on the Heiligenberg, each about six metres high. They were needed because steam locomotives used to drive through the 1345-metre-long tunnel. The exhaust fumes came out of the tunnel through the chimneys.

The Ritterstein stands southeast of Kaiserslautern. North of the railway underpass into the Hungerbrunnen valley: There was a mill here in 1715. The beautiful winter linden trees that still stand there are remarkable. The former tourist restaurant on this site was demolished in 1954. The place names Entersweiler Mühle, Entersweiler Hof, Entersweiler Feld, Entersweiler Weg are reminders that there was once an entire village here.
