From here, we can see the Höckenbach estuary into the Wilde Weißeritz. Info: Edle Krone is a settlement near the estuary of the Höckenbach and the Wilde Weißeritz in the southeast of the Tharandt Forest in Saxony.

Not open when we visited, but definitely worth another visit.

The Aurora Erbstollen is part of the mining trail in the valley of the Wild Weißeritz near Dorfhain and is a very special attraction, because you can even visit the silver mine from the Middle Ages in the summer months. Challenging path with roots and stones

In front of the dam wall of the Klingenberg dam there is a bay - the Kohlgrund. During the August 2002 flood, huge amounts of earth from the agricultural land above the dam were washed into the reservoir. Agriculture that protects the soil counteracts erosion and reduces the amount of substances entering the dam. There have been agreements with agriculture and forestry for many years that have contributed to stabilizing water quality.
