Small, free, privately run zoo with mini horses, sheep, goats, alpacas, rheas ... At the top there is a small playground and a large picnic area.
Very nice place. Ideal for families with young children. The zoo can also be combined with a hike. There is a small donation box at the entrance.

The Höckendorfer Heide zoo invites you to take a free tour. There are all sorts of animal species, but mostly domestic animals. So don't expect elephants, monkeys, tigers and the like.

The descent is actually super, but you should slow down a bit for the sake of the animals and people. You can also see more of the cute residents.
