There's no observation tower here...it was demolished. Now there's an insect hotel there as a "training project by Malte Wessels." The bridge leads over the Walchum Schot and the bench...wow, it's on the Ems cycle path along the Dortmund Ems Canal 😁🫣

Good place for photos. I gave the photo to friends and told them that the signs in Emsland are now all getting bigger for the visually impaired. Some people believed it.

At this point there is a bench, an insect hotel and a beautiful bridge over the Walchum chimney.

There is an old pump house on this arm of the Ems.

This beautiful path is located directly on the dyke. The entire route is wonderful to walk.

This rest area is located directly on the side of the road, but also directly on Heeder Straße.
