Beautiful reuse of the old Preten train station - unfortunately only open on weekends

The old train station in Preten is now a café. Unfortunately, the café is still closed in March. Opening hours from April to October are weekends and public holidays (Sat and Sun, 12 noon - 6 pm). The café belongs to the neighboring Seebürger sheep farm (https://schaeferei-seebuerger.de/), which also offers tours of its operations.

At the right time of year there seems to be plenty of food for the road. Like Hansel and Gretel, I was able to follow a walnut trail for a long time. I'm not sure if the bowls really belong on the path or not but better next to it. If throw away...
