Zöbigker Harbor, also known as Pier 1, is the center of water tourism on Lake Cospuden. Boats and bicycles can be rented here, and sailing and diving courses can be booked. It is also the starting point for passenger boat tours on Lake Cospuden. The Scandinavian-style wooden houses, the sailing yachts moored at the jetty, and the expansive expanse of water make visitors dream of the sea. During the construction of the Elster Basin, into which the Elster Flood Basin flows, several bridges were built to connect the center with the western parts of the city. The bridge is named after the sculptor, painter and graphic artist Max Klinger (1857-1920), as is the neighboring Klingerhain. Builder: City of Leipzig Architect: Georg Wünschmann (1868-1937); The Klinger Bridge was one of his last works before he retired from active professional life in 1930.
