On the mirror-like surface of the lake, the shadows of the trees danced, while on the opposite shore, the first lights of the houses twinkled like tiny stars. Swimming area on the Großer Plöner See (Great Plön Lake) with a sandy beach, playground, and sunbathing lawn. The long, sandy beach is the ideal swimming spot for families. A sunbathing lawn, benches, a hammock, a slide, mini-golf, and a small playground invite you to linger. The water is gently sloping and marked with a non-swimmer's boundary. Shady spots and a jetty into the water are available, as are changing facilities and restrooms.

The Dieksee is a lake in Holstein Switzerland. It covers 386 hectares, has a maximum length of approximately 3.4 km and a maximum width of 1.6 km. The lake is up to 38 m deep and lies approximately 22 m above sea level. The Schwentine River flows through it from east to west.
