The road is paved, with some red sand on it at times. Be careful, you'll be crossing the railroad with other drivers going to/from Lörzweiler. It's best to park your bike at the front and set off as soon as the barrier goes up. A passenger train and a freight train often pass by.

Very nice biking within the vinyards. No traffic reasonable tarmac for road bikes and stunning views. Besides that, you will always find a place to sit in for a rest and enjoy some of the local delights.

The atmosphere at the Roßmarkt fountain in Alzey is wonderfully relaxed. I bought an ice cream for my niece Hellena, and her happy laughter mixes with the rippling water of the fountain. As she plays with her little brother Konstantin and happily romps around the fountain, the tranquility of the square fills the air. It is a beautiful sight to see the two children full of joy for life, while I pause for a moment to soak up the idyll. The fountain, surrounded by the historic buildings, seems to be the perfect place to enjoy time and appreciate life's little moments of happiness. A simple but precious experience!
