I hiked up from St. Ursanne, then along the ridge to La Caquerelle (it's worth stopping there) and then down to Glovelier.

Once you reach the ridge above Outremont, the view towards Mont Soleil and the Chasseral is fantastic. The hike over to La Caquerelle is well worth it.
