The country oratory is among the oldest in Lombardy. It is dated to the 5th-6th century, as the form of the Roman foot (29.6 cm) often occurs. The Valmorea Railway, inaugurated in 1926, was an international line that connected the north of Milan with Mendrisio. The Valmorea station was the border station. Today, thanks to the Friends of the Valmorea Railway Association, the Valmorea railway can be traveled from Mendrisio to Malnate Olona.
