A new pedestrian bridge has now been built over the Fuhse river near the tree trunk bridge.

Here, the Fuhse River can still run wild, and after every flood, the banks are re-scoured. In some places, the Fuhse has high banks approximately 5 meters high. The amount of deadwood on the riverside path on both sides makes the route a trail with some obstacles in a naturally managed woodland area.

The shelter is now gone, but there is a beautiful bridge again.

A very beautiful bridge. It can be easily incorporated into a circular walk in the Friedwald/Herrschaft. Only the shelter has been dismantled.

Due to the construction work on the bridge, the hut unfortunately had to be demolished; only the foundation slab is now visible.

Beautiful, new wooden bridge over the Fuhse. Now you can walk to the bridge on one bank of the Fuhse and back again on the other bank.
