The place to be for après-bike rides and sundowners on La Palma. The two beach kiosks with cocktails and snacks are especially recommended.

The beach is located right in Puerto de Tazacorte, with all its restaurants. Water and black lava sand—what more could you want? At the northern end, the water is protected from the surf by a breakwater (or was it once a pier?). All in all, quite nice ☺

Don't forget your swimwear when the weather is nice

One of the few sandy beaches (black sand) on La Palma. There are a few taverns, nothing particularly outstanding, but enough for a beer or a coffee. The scenery is beautiful, the harbor pier less so. The sunset at this spot is absolutely worth seeing – the light and colors are impressive – and that alone makes the visit worthwhile.

Restaurants, bars and an ice cream parlor invite you to linger and the beach in the north area is safe for swimming even when the waves are a little stronger

It looks very spectacular and you can walk through the riverbed all the way to the sea.
