The pond is beautifully situated in the middle of the forest, where you can go on very long hikes.

Martin Luther Square is located in Augsburg's city center, not far from Maximilian Street. It is a small, paved square with seating and trees, primarily serving as a thoroughfare and a place to linger. The square is surrounded by residential and commercial buildings and integrated into the city's pedestrian traffic. At its center stands the Goldsmiths' Fountain, a modern fountain with sculptural elements. It commemorates the historical significance of goldsmithing for the city of Augsburg. The fountain is low-lying, constructed of metal and stone elements, and defines the center of the square without being overpowering. Martin Luther Square is used year-round and is an integral part of the everyday urban environment.
