Chapel made of ferruginous sandstone, highlighting the geological formation of the Flanders Mountains. The Chapel of Our Lady of La Salette was blessed on August 27, 1876. This chapel, in an underground cave, was built of ferruginous stone extracted from the sand pits of Mont-Noir. At the summit, there is a Calvary that can be seen from afar. The site is picturesque, and the cave is not lacking in originality. Its objective goes beyond aesthetics, highlighting local biodiversity to educate and surprise visitors of all ages. Liprandi Rodolpho; Italian artist born in Trieste in 1994. A graduate in Sculpture from the Academy of Fine Arts in Bologna, he specializes in creating Land Art sculptural works depicting animals. These unique installations are the result of an in-depth exploration of the relationship between humans and nature. Using local natural materials, the artist conducts an artistic investigation aimed at raising awareness, educating and promoting the natural heritage of the areas where he works.
