Discovering the fauna and flora of the garrigue

Certainly a beautiful walk, although it goes down quite steeply at the end. Together with our two daughters of 4 and 6 it was a tough route.

Imposing walls far away from civilization.

It is a special place. The Chartreuse is really splendid with its glazed roofs. I think you should take the time to visit it, something you don't always think about when you're on the bike

Nice place. Good for a little break.

Former monastery - now owned by a Protestant association that produces wine there. The monks' cells have been converted into guest rooms. There is also a small restaurant. Wednesday to Sunday from 10:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.

A beautiful former monastery of the Carthusian order, well worth a visit and a great spot for a picnic. Also, the well-stocked shop sells local wines and of course Chartreuse!

A small hamlet typical of this area, no shops or cafésso bring refreshments!
