Cycle path along the Bodden lagoon, great to ride, simply wonderful to cycle through nature here.

It's great to drive through the Darß Forest; driving here is fun, driving through nature.

Cycle path along the Bodden lagoon near Zingst. The path leads through beautiful nature reserves. Numerous viewing platforms offer stunning panoramic views.

A well-developed main cycle path provides access to all points of entry to the West Beach. The fastest connection between Prerow and Ahrenshoop leads through the beautiful Darß Forest.

Combined with the dunes and pine trees, this makes for a wonderful photo to remember. The Darßer Ort lighthouse, commissioned in 1849, is 35 meters high and located on the northwest tip of the Fischland-Darß-Zingst peninsula. It has been open to visitors again since 1995. Coming from Prerow, you bypass Zingst here, continuing towards the mainland. The narrow path is challenging. It only gets better once you reach the former railway embankment.

It's proven to be one of the most frequently used bike paths in Germany. However, there's no alternative if you want to cycle in the opposite direction from Prerow to Zingst. It's easily rideable in the off-season, but offers no special views.

The highlight position in the overview is wrong: The viewing/observation tower is located at the easternmost end of the cycle path.
