Coming from Prerow, you bypass Zingst here, continuing towards the mainland. The narrow path is challenging. It only gets better once you reach the former railway embankment.

It's proven to be one of the most frequently used bike paths in Germany. However, there's no alternative if you want to cycle in the opposite direction from Prerow to Zingst. It's easily rideable in the off-season, but offers no special views.

The dike between Prerow and Zingst is almost like a highway. According to statistics, no other place in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern has more cyclists on the road.
